Montessori pedagogy is known as a humane system of raising children, in which the child with his unique nature and his own needs comes first. There is no authoritarianism in this system, the system is created for the child, and not the child is adjusted to the standard. In Montessori system there is no classroom-lesson system, children study in different age groups, have freedom of movement (the child can work at a table or on a rug), freedom of choice of material for work (all materials are on the shelves and freely accessible). The child can study for as long as he needs. Thanks to a competently created atmosphere, the child learns independence, the ability to make choices, and trains his will.
Adults and children in a Montessori class live in an atmosphere of kindness, love, faith and mutual assistance. If a child has difficulties, the teacher is always ready to help. Since the groups are of different ages, children learn to care for those who are weaker or need help. All class materials are natural and created based on the age characteristics of children. A child growing up in an atmosphere where they are always ready to support him, allow him to make his mistakes and correct them, grows into a confident person.
A child who completes a task trains his will. A child who is treated kindly grows up happy. Tasks given by Montessori pedagogy is the timely development of children’s abilities, the preservation of their physical and mental health, the identification of talents and the further development of these talents. Finally, the task for each child is to find his place in life, his purpose, to answer the question “Who am I?” and understand why she came into this world.
